Reid graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1994 and completed an internship in small animal medicine/surgery at the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI in 1995.
After 10 years in private practice in Vancouver, Reid moved to the UAE where he was the hospital director of a small animal practice in Abu Dhabi. After an adventure-filled 16 year Middle East experience, Reid returned to Canada in 2020 and made Victoria home.
In his spare time Reid enjoys triathlons, kayaking, travel and time spent with family and friends.
